Search Multiple Prefixes/Suffixes (AND Search):
When searching for verbs, you can find verbs that match several prefixes and suffixes simultaneously by separating them by a comma in the fields above.This will show you results that match ALL of the listed prefixes and suffixes (in any of the various conjugations), and hide the rest.
This can be useful to try to find a particular style of verb conjugation.
Example:
Try a search using with the prefix field as: "mag,nag". This will show you any verb dictionary entries that have both "mag" AND "nag" among their conjugations.
Exclude Multiple Keywords:
Exclude multiple keywords by separating them with a comma. If a dictionary entry includes ANY of the words listed they will not show in your results.
Custom Pattern:
Search dictionary entries for custom patterns.
Examples:Example Custom Pattern: ka+RO+ROOT
Matches: kagigising, kababalik, kaaaayos, etc.
Example Custom Pattern: kaka+ROOT:
Matches: kakagising, kakabalik, kakaayos, etc.
Pattern usage notes:- Prefix, suffix, and ROOT pieces should be separated with "+" signs.- "RO" indicates first syllable of a root. "ROOT" indicates a full root.
-"RO" and "ROOT" must by capitalized in your patterns.
- NOTE: Searches done with custom patterns ignore the other prefix and suffix textbox search fields.
