Root: iyon
Usage Notes:
"Iyón" is used to mean "that" when the object being referenced is located far away from both you and the person you're speaking to. There is no equivalent in English. For example: If a man is speaking to a woman and they are looking something on a mountain, the man might say "Anó iyón?" in reference to the thing on the mountain, because it is located far from both the person speaking and far from the person he's speaking to (the woman). He should not "iyán," which also means "that." See usage notes for "iyán" to compare.
