Stress Changes and Shifts In Sentences
Keep In Mind:
Vowels of a word that do not have accent marks should not be pronounced with a stress or glottal catch.
There are times when the stress changes depending on how and where a word is used in a sentence, to make the pronunciation smoother and more rhythmic.
The end glottal catch of a word is dropped if it is followed by another word. As a result, sentences will sound more fluid as words flow naturally as you speak. On the contrary, if that word is at the end of the sentence or is followed by a comma, then its end glottal catch is retained..

It's important to take note of the changing stress marks in a sentence. If you notice the dictionary shows a certain stress mark on a word, and later you see the stress mark has changed in an example sentence, it does not necessarily mean there is a typo or error in the educational materials, but rather that the stress has changed in the usage.
