Tutorial Pg. #6 of 6
There is a special piece of code you can use to easily illustrate corrections made to a sentence.
Example:
Gusto ko kong bumili nito.
Gusto ko kong bumili nito.
Here is the pattern for this code:
[correction]Sentence 1.::Sentence one. [/correction]
Here is the result:
Sentence 1. one.
Sentence 1. one.
Let's break down this code piece by piece.
- To start, the code begins with "[correction]" -- (without the quotes) this tells the program that a correction entry is coming.
- After the tag, you type the incorrect sentence.
- After the incorrect sentence, you type an ending two colon characters, like this: "::" (again, without the apostrophes).
- Next, type the new and corrected sentence.
- Lastly, type "[/correction]" -- this indicates that the correction markup code has ended.
Just be careful you don't add any extra spaces before or around your definition markup to make sure it is displayed correctly.
