Question: Is there a Tagalog term for reading a message but not responding to it?

A bit like "leaving someone on read" in English.

I am not aware of any that specifically applies to emails, but there's the slang "dedma" which means something like "to choose not to respond to a stimulus" or "to pretend to be unaware of the stimulus".

It can be made into a verb. For example:

(OF) Dedmahin: dinedma, dinededma, dededmahin

Q: Sinagót ba ni Anna ang email mo? = Did Anna respond to your email?
A: Hindi. Mukhang dinedma lang. = No. It seems that she just ignored it/pretends to have not received it.
