taga saan po kayo? (anong lungsod) pasensya na po... hindi kaya fluent ako pero maaaring mag-try kong tulungan... ang magulang ko taga-pilipinas if that matters?

if anyone is available, can they help me with my tagalog because I am not so fluent but want to speak with my parents? i can understand them but they say that sometimes the textbooks i use are inaccurate and i will sound like a bot because the way i was taught is not rlly how native speakers speak. i will try to check this discussion area often... please and thank you!

btw how do you text in the philippines? when my parents chat with friends they sometimes shorten words by removing vowels intentionally so how would i do that so it seems natural? and how do i use honorifics (po) bcuz my parents allow me to speak to them w/o using po but if i speak to relatives and other filipinos i don't want to be disrespectful. sorry if that is a lot to ask
