@TLDCAdmin Yo! I'm posting this since the site recommended I do so, and I figured why not introduce myself. My name is Anthony and I'm an aspiring polyglot. I'm fluent in English and have studied French for a few years now. I don't know exactly what drew me to wanting to learn Tagalog, but I figured that I might as well give it a shot, as I have been looking for another language to begin studying as I approach fluency in French. I look forward to getting into this, as this seems like a very nice group of people to be working with.

I am studying the Filipino language because.... Both my parents are from the Phillippines. My mother is from Ilocos Norte, and my father is from Leyte. My parents immigrated to the USA in 1969. I was born here in Los Angeles... My parents spoke Tagalog up until I started going to school; from first grade on, only speaking to me and my sister in English at home. I can understand generally what someone is talking about if speaking Tagalog. I'm here to relearn Tagalog at the same time reconnecting with some of my heritage.
