@jensydcej hello, I am learning Filipino in Melbourne and I have been doing it on my own. I think I'm doing well, but I have difficulty setting goals for myself. I noticed you are also in Melbourne, so if you would like a study partner in lockdown we could trade tips and useful links. I have a lot of experience learning other languages, but each language has it's own tricks. If you know any good movies to watch with English subtitles that would be useful.
