My gut feeling tells me it's a some kind of variation of "duda," maybe regional perhaps. Made me think of how I've heard "baliskaran" for "baliktaran" before. Like somehow maybe it rolls off the tongue better than "nakakapangduda" which could make sense, but I'm not 100% on that of course.

Baliskaran = Magulo ang buhok .....

Baliskaran (Tagalog ) = Magulo ang buhok

Baliskaran (Tagbanwa) = Upside down !
