U.S. former President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Friday (September 6) mocked his Democrat rival and current Vice President Kamala Harris, ahead of next week's debate. Trump addressed the Fraternal Order of Police in North Carolina and thanked them for their endorsement. "I will always back the blue as I did," he said. During his speech, Trump also expressed relief over the postponement of the "Manhattan D.A. witch hunt" against him, labeling it as political interference in the 2024 election. On Friday, the New York judge in Trump's hush money trial delayed his sentencing until after the Nov. 5 election, now planned for Nov. 26, unless the case is dismissed before then. Trump and his Democratic rival Kamala Harris will square off next week in their first presidential debate since President Joe Biden quit the race. It will be the first chance some 240 million U.S. voters get to hear Trump and Harris explain their policies side by side ahead ofthe Nov. 5 election, and a rare moment
