Actor-director Justin Baldoni's attorney Bryan Freedman attended an initial conference on Monday in Manhattan federal court. This marks the onset of a trial slated to begin on March 9, 2026, against actors Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. The legal proceedings followed allegations made by Lively in the previous year. On Dec. 21, Lively lodged a legal complaint against Baldoni, her co-star and director in the film "It Ends With Us." She accused Baldoni of sexual harassment during the film's production. Baldoni's legal team countered these allegations, branding them as "categorically false." "Justin feels devastated, as anyone wrongfully accused would. He is an honest, caring person and he is seeking justice," said Freedman on Monday. "Let's hope that Justin gets some justice today." Neither Lively nor Baldoni attended Monday's hearing.
