BEEF CALDERETA 3kg Beef cubes 2 large onions, finely chopped ½ cup minced garlic Patis for seasoning 5 pcs red bell peppers (medium size), finely chopped 2 cups tomato sauce 5-6 cups beef stock OR water plus 2 pcs beef broth cube ¼ cup soy sauce 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper - Saute onions, garlic, bell pepper. Add the beef, and cook until slightly brown. - Add the other ingredients, and braise for 2-3 hours (or 1 hour in the pressure cooker), or until meat is fork-tender. ¾ cup peanut butter ½ cup evaporated milk ¼ cup tomato paste Splash of vinegar 5-8 pcs potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes 4-5 pcs red bell peppers (medium size), cut into cubes 8-10 pcs hard boiled eggs, peeled and sliced Salt, pepper, sugar to taste
