Kyiv emergency services lifted a missile remnant from a residential building on Sunday (November 17) after Russia unleashed a large wave of airstrikes on Ukraine, firing 120 missiles and 90 drones. Local resident and communal worker Oksana said that she heard explosions in the early morning but didn't immediately understand that a building in her neighbourhood was hit as she couldn't see a fire. Officials confirmed damage to "critical infrastructure" or reported power cuts in regions spanning from Volyn, Rivne, Lviv in the west to the southeastern Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy provider, imposed emergency power cuts in the southern Odesa region at the order of energy officials. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the "massive combined attack targeted all regions of Ukraine". Russia's defence ministry said it had launched a massive strike on energy facilities that supply Ukraine's military-industrial complex. (Production: Anna Voitenko, Felix Hoske) For mor
