Inter Miami star Lionel Messi and the rest of the Argentina squad gathered at the Argentine Soccer Association (AFA) facilities on Monday (November 18) to train ahead of their next World Cup qualifier, which will be played on Tuesday (November 19) against Peru at the iconic La Bombonera stadium in Buenos Aires.
The Argentine players jogged around the field and engaged in a series of passing combinations and dribbling drills under the watchful eye of coach Lionel Scaloni.
During the press conference, Scaloni said Messi, who had been injured and sidelined for two months, was looking fit and "normal," considering this year's activity.
The reigning world champion will face Peru midway through the qualification campaign and currently leads the South American CONMEBOL qualifier standings.
