« BackGeneral Requirements
- Be patient, polite and professional.
- Avoid: Politics & Religion.
- Treat students equally, regardless of race, gender, sexual preference, age, disability, etc.
- Reply to student messages and lesson requests promptly.
- Keep your calendar up to date to prevent scheduling conflicts.
- Do not record your students without written or recorded consent.
- Attend all classes on time.
- Do not end your lessons early.
Bannable Offenses
Any of these may result in your account being immediately and permanently:- Do not discuss accepting payment outside of Tagalog.com.
- Do not promote a competing website or service.
- Do not promote your own company or services.
- Do not post spam, use foul language or obscenities, or ask for money for purposes other than language studies.
- Do not flirt or "hitting on" your students. Do not say anything sexually suggestive to a student.
- Do not provide false profile information.
- Do not schedule fake lessons with yourself or fake students.
- Do not post your own contact information or your account will be banned. Do not give a student your: social media accounts, your email address, blog, website, usernames, etc.
