- Tagalog.com receives several thousand Tagalog language learners to the website every day.
- We show these students a "Teachers" area where they can find Tagalog teachers (like you!) and sign up for classes online.
- Payment and scheduling for the classes is handled on Tagalog.com. We handle secure credit card processing and coordinating schedules and timezones to make the process as smooth and easy as possible both for the students and the teachers.
- Tagalog.com charges a 7% commission to teachers. We charge no fees to students, other than a small fee to cover credit card charges. These fees are HALF the cost of other teacher platform websites, like iTalki.
- Teachers and students conduct their lessons one-on-one on the student's preferred platform: Skype, Zoom, or FaceTime.
- Once the lesson is successfully completed and confirmed by the student, the teacher will receive payment in their Teacher Wallet.
- Teachers can withdraw their earnings at any time, as long as they have at least an $4 USD balance. Funds will be sent within 48 hours. Tagalog.com only charges the fees charged by 3rd-party money transfer companies to transfer your money (Tagalog.com does not make a profit on your withdrawals).

Applying to become a teacher on Tagalog.com is free.
Once approved as a teacher, Tagalog.com charges a 7% fee on each successfully completed lesson. This fee is used for the development and maintenance of this website, for our services facilitating the lesson scheduling, and for our services finding students for you to teach. Tagalog.com does not charge a fee when you withdraw your earnings other than the fees the transfer service may charge to do the money transfer.
Students pre-pay for their lessons online before the lesson is booked.
When you receive a lesson request from a student, you can be confident that the student has already paid
and is serious about taking a lesson from you.
The student's payment remains with Tagalog.com temporarily
until the lesson is finished and confirmed by the student.
After you and the student have completed a lesson, the student will receive an email asking them to confirm the lesson was completed successfully (they also receive a big reminder notice throughout the Tagalog.com website asking them to confirm the lesson).
Once the student confirms the lesson, your payment will automatically be deposited into your Teacher wallet on Tagalog.com!
