Teacher Requirements

General Requirements

• You must be a native speaker of Tagalog.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have a reliable internet connection of at least 2Mbps. You can test your internet connection here.
• You must have a working microphone and webcam.
• You must install Skype, Zoom and Google Hangouts for your student lessons.
• You must include a clear profile photo.
• You must fill out a Tagalog.com teacher application.

Teacher Photo Requirements:

• Your teacher profile photo must be a simple, clear photo of your face looking directly at the camera.
• You cannot use a photo with other people in the picture.
• You must use good lighting so your face is clearly visible.
• The photo should not be too far away so that it's hard to make our your face.
• No sunglasses or hats please.
• Photos must be clear and not blurry.
• The photo must be of yourself only. No logos or contact information allowed.
